DOE Technical FacilitationI facilitate technical meetings and promote process improvment efforts for the Department of Energy (DOE) community. Non-local unusual clients have been: Stanford Linear Accelerator, Navajo Nation, DOE Headquarters, and Atominform in Moscow, Russia. These efforts are coordinated through Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory for multiple facility meetings within the DOE community. - See: Technical Facilitation Services.

ApologeticsMy active Christian walk began during the Jesus Revolution of the early 70's, which led to being a pulpit preacher for a year in Socorro, a year as a rural county jail chaplain, helping establish a Christian coffeehouse on campus, and playing the role of Jesus in amateur skits. Since 1977, I developed adult Bible studies. I was the Secretary for the Bible Study Groups at LLNL from 1979 to 2006. Over the years, I wrote minor papers that promoted why a reasonable person would make a whole-hearted commitment to Jesus Christ, with an emphasis on historicity and reliability.There are conservative influences from many theologically traditional (more so than less so) apologists who have defended traditional Christian faith across denominational lines. (Apologists do not take the place of Scripture but their logic has helped many honest skeptics.)
